freedom never comes without a cost,

My quest for revenge you swore we would complete.

As you died before my eyes
I saw not through your lies,
You knew it was the perfect disguise.

Joy shone bright when you reappeared,
Turning my darkness to light,
But when you spoke of the cruel game you play,
My day turned to darkest night.

I sought you out, and tried to find
that cruel sadistic smile,
And now you've found another toy,
One who plays with fire.

My entry for

's Casual Comic Inspiration challenge
where you have to choose two comic book characters ( one from DC the other from Marvel)
as your inspiration for casual attire.
I chose The Green Lantern (Left) and The Punisher(Right) as my inspiration

Aha! I have come to expect great feelings of happiness when I see work by you in my inbox and as usual you have not dissapointed. It is only a matter of time before these designs make the shift from drawing to sales, well done. As a DC nut I am loving the lanturn design but I am partial to a bit of marvel now and then so well done on the punisher, both designs reflect well on their character counterpart.
